Our extra-curricular highlights
Public speaking
Students can develop their thinking and communication skills through public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Vege garden program- 'Nabipatch'
Our students enjoy spending time in the Nabipatch, cultivating fruit, vegetables, and flowers. The harvest is placed in a basket at the front of the school for community members to take. At the start of the year, we grow vegetables and participate in competitions at the Nabiac Show.
Community Events
Our school enjoys a strong bond with the community, hosting numerous events throughout the year open to all, such as Mothers' Day, Fathers' Day, Grandparents' Day, Book Week, Nabiac Town Christmas Carols, and NAIDOC celebrations, to name a few. Our school leaders proudly conduct the community ANZAC Dawn Service, and students participate in the annual community march through town.
Sporting Events
A variety of sporting opportunities are available for students to participate in. Students may trial for PSSA teams such as soccer, netball, and touch football. Annual events include swimming and athletics carnivals, as well as cross country competitions. There may also be opportunities to explore additional sports, including tennis, volleyball, and t-ball.
Technology
Our school features a tech hub designed for students to explore and engage with various technologies, including podcasting, robotics, coding, and videography.
